Mold only becomes a problem when there is too much of it, when it causes problems for your health, or when it is unsightly and causing damage to your home or property. When mold is present, it releases spores into the air. These spores are inhaled or absorbed by the skin and eyes by humans. Some species of mold cause little to no negative implications to humans, while others can have some serious health consequences. Therefore receiving a mold inspection is important in any real estate transaction.

Mold Growth: The three things mold needs to grow is air, food, and moisture. Molds take a variety of forms and textures, appearing as white, black, yellow, blue or green and often looking like a discoloration or stain to a surface. They can also have a velvety, fuzzy or rough appearance, depending on the type of mold and where it is growing.
Testing: Our inspectors are trained to sample mold spores in the air, identify typical moisture intrusion areas, and confirm the presence of a mold issue. Our mold inspections will not only test your home for mold, but we have multiple testing devices to look for the moisture intrusion that causes mold.
Analyzing: Our test samples are analyzed by Hayes Microbial, an independent 3rd party company, which identifies if there is an elevated level of mold spores in the home, and just how bad the problem is.
